ABOUT DEEP TISSUE LASER THERAPY

Deep tissue laser therapy is a non-invasive medical treatment that uses focused light to treat acute musculoskeletal injuries such as sports related injuries as well as chronic conditions. The laser stimulates tissue regeneration and healing by a process called photobiomodulation (PBM).  Laser pain relief treatment consists of the application of a therapeutic dose of light energy to dysfunctional tissue.   >This therapy is used throughout major professional sports teams to promote rapid recovery and healing. It is used worldwide in over 150 major league teams¹.

During laser treatment you may feel a soothing warmth as the therapy is administered. Treatments are quick, usually no longer than ten minutes, depending on the size and depth of the treatment area and the chronicity of the condition being treated.  Patients sometimes experience a benefit immediately, but generally feel results after three to five treatments. Chronic conditions often require more treatments than acute conditions.

Deep tissue laser therapy is a safe and effective alternative to drugs and can speed recovery from surgery. It is clinically proven to reduce pain and inflammation.  It is an FDA cleared therapy.

ABOUT US

Dr. Stephen Boyajian and Dr. Kenneth Rogers are Board Certified Anesthesiologists and Fellowship-Trained Interventional Pain Specialists. They have been in practice for over thirty years, and are devoted to diagnosing and treating acute and chronic pain.

They began utilizing lasers for pain relief by performing minimally invasive disc excision of herniated discs in 2005. This minimally invasive technique enabled patients to avoid more extensive surgery.  Now they have incorporated the use of the  LightForce Laser©, a non-invasive treatment for deep tissue relief of acute pain, as in sports related injuries, and chronic pain as in low back pain.
